Why Wait?

One of the hardest things in life is waiting. We get perturbed waiting at a traffic light or in line at the grocery store. If a package is late, we get annoyed. Perhaps when you were a child, you heard, “wait until your father gets home.” That could have filled you with fear or happy anticipation.

Waiting is a gift that we seldom recognize. During the time that you are waiting, you can reflect, analyze and ensure that you have made a good decision. During the time of waiting, you experience growth. Just as a plant will not produce fruit without going through its growth stage, neither can we, as humans, grow without time passing.

Most people are designed to wait. In human design, the majority of types are created to wait. Pure manifestors alone can act on an idea without waiting. Emotional manifestors, projectors, reflectors, and generators are designed to wait for the emotional wave to pass, an invitation, or to be recognized.

So what is happening while we are waiting? If you align with your dreams, you are waiting for the Universe, God, the Supernatural, to create the environment for success. If you have not yet made a decision but have the idea, the waiting period takes you through the entire emotional wave, from high to low, to make sure the decision is right for you.

Let’s take the example of a sales call or webinar. You just finished watching a motivational sales presentation. They get to the bottom line and say, “act today and get a 35% discount” or, “sign up now; there are only three spots left.” Part of you wants to jump on it, but a better choice is to allow the waiting period. You may lose out on the discount, but most likely, the opportunity will still be there when you’ve had time to feel whether the decision is right for you.

Learn to view waiting as a gift; life will bless you in many ways.
